GuardDog Value

VALUE is something of an "odd commodity." What may be considered VALUEable (therefore worth a lot) to one may well be thought of as meaningless (and therefore worth nothing) to another.
Picture
Components (of any business or product) that affect VALUE include:

                    Quality, Service, Price and Time

If you're more of an analytical person (you like math) CLICK HERE for an analytical discussion of value.  If you're more of a "touchy-feely" type person, please continue on this page...

Let's examine this idea using a short but very illustrative example...

Two ladies go to the grocery store to purchase bananas. One is looking for delicious fruit substitute for her children’s preference for junk-food snacks while the other is looking to bake banana bread (which requires slightly more “ripened” bananas).

Lady #1 is anticipating “nice yellow bananas” that are ready to peel and eat. Since the store’s banana selection has aged a bit beyond the “nice yellow” stage, she’s “turned-off” by her SUBJECTIVITY the bananas are “rotten.”

Conversely, since Lady #2 is anticipating “just a bit beyond nice yellow” bananas that are “perfect” for her immediate baking need, she is “turned-on” by her
SUBJECTIVITY the bananas are “perfect.”

Q: Was there any difference in the bananas?

A: No – the only difference was the
SUBJECTIVITY of the two
        ladies.

UPSHOT:
SUBJECTIVITY is EVERYTHING when determining VALUE
