365 days a year. For that reason alone, we are always seeking to
improve our quality – regardless if that means developing better
products, improving internal and external systems, employing
superior installation methods or simply going the extra mile to serve
a customer.
Regardless of how good our product or service may be, there's
always room for improvement - please let us know where or how we
can get better. The only true measure of our quality is how you, our
customers, subjectively define quality.

SERVICE
Service (like Quality) at GuardDog Surveillance Systems begins
with each person and it never ends.
First, GuardDog Surveillance Systems DOES NOT sell "Service
Contracts!" Why not? Our systems are designed, built and
installed in such a manner that a service contract (paid for by
you) would be a poor investment of your resources. You would
literally be paying for "services" from which you'd never receive
any benefit. For this reason alone, we don't do it.
Our products, systems and installations are literally “on trial”
24/7 – 365 days a year. Thus, our service must also support that
kind of “trial.”
Every Internet connected system we build has the installed
capacity to be remotely serviced – 24/7 – 365 days a year and
most of the time we can solve routine issues remotely.
We use only the industries most proven products and installation
methods. When we complete a project, everything works and we
guarantee our material and workmanship for one year.
All that said, from time to time “stuff breaks.” If a failed
component is within manufacture warranty, your cost of
replacement is only our service time. We service other people’s
installed equipment as well as our own – if you purchased the
system and installation from GuardDog Surveillance Systems you
automatically receive a 25% discount off our standard service
rates.
PRICE
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is a concept that most people
understand. Simply stated, the initial purchase PRICE of a product
or service is only a portion of that product's or service's cost. As
such, if bottom dollar of the initial purchase is your primary
interest, please allow us to be candid – GuardDog Surveillance
Systems is NOT a good fit for you.

- We use more expensive storage hard drives because the application (constantly writing data) demands it. Others that don’t will experience premature drive failures – guaranteed!
- We build a more robust machine than our supplier components demand. Sure we could skimp on component quality or capacity but if, for just a few dollars extra, our equipment operates cooler, at a lower percentage of total capacity is will last longer. Over our history of building and installing equipment we’ve even rebuilt (to our standards) what others have provided and for a fraction of the cost of new, provided our clients with “as good as new.” Building stout with stuff you know about will, in the end, last longer than compromising quality or capacity for price – guaranteed!
- GuardDog professionally hangs and separates (from all other structured wiring) all its video and data cabling – this takes more time and costs more. This practice also prevents problems from happening and insures our installations work today and for years into the future. Others drape their wiring on top of the ceiling tile or worse, run their video cabling along with other high voltage power wiring. Both practices will reduce the life of your installation and/or cause other problems – guaranteed!
- Our system terminations are always well engineered, neat, clean and easy to service – this takes more time and costs more. Others, many who’s workmanship we’ve fixed, tend to look (from the very beginning) like generations of rat families have nested in the equipment. Poor termination practice will always lead to problems – guaranteed!
- We impeccably document all of our installed systems with a comprehensive set of AS BUILT, CAD-generated drawings. This practice, in the video security industry, is virtually unheard of. For a variety of reasons, (perhaps excuses) most others simply don’t bother. Having a set of GuardDog generated AS BUILT wiring, IT Configuration and system connection drawings will save you future expense – guaranteed!
