Introduction to Video Surveillance Recording
Recorders, now that's an odd title for a web-page. True, it is even odder language coming from GuardDog Surveillance Systems, a highly techical firm specializing in all aspects of current technology Video Systems. All of the above it true, however, if all we do is write in "industustry specific acronym soup" and security world "buzz words" how will ever communicate effectively?
This is precicely why we chose to use the term "recorders." Regardless if the hardware is a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or a NAS (Network Attached Storage) Box - terms most may not be familiar with - we all understand that when contemplating Video Security it is necessary to record information somehow.
